PSP 3000

Today i'm going to be reviewing the PSP 3000 Core Pack - Black.  I know its been out for a while, but i love it so i'm going to review it anyways.

The PSP 3000 has many great features and qualities.

Sony did a great job finding locations for the buttons, and you can press everything very easily. The PSP 3000 has a small joystick on the lower left hand side, with 4 direction buttons above it. On the right hand side it has an X, O, ▲, and [_], as well as the power button. The volume, home, select, and start buttons are on the bottom; the layout of buttons is much like the ps2, or ps3.

The look of this handheld system is amazing; it has a glossy black finish and a vibrant 4.3 inch widescreen LCD screen, as well as a large silver PSP logo on the back.

The game play on the PSP is also very good, I recently played GOW Chains of Olympus on it and all I can say is wow. The graphics were so good for a portable system, and it seemed as if I was playing a ps3. I also listen to music on it, but the sound coming out of the built in speakers isn’t very good, so I use headphones.

One last thing I love about this system is that it has wifi. I can challenge my friends in games, use Skype, and surf the internet all portably. This system is great.

The canon rebel xs-

The canon rebel xs is a very nice low price SLR camera. I bought this camera a couple months ago for photography class and I really grew to like it.

The quality is second to none; I haven’t seen a non SLR camera take such crystal clear photos. I use this camera for taking pictures mainly of nature and landscapes, as well as some macro shots. The camera came with an 18-55mm lens which is good for general photography, but if you want to get into wildlife close-ups you may need something closer to a 300mm+ lens.

The body of the camera feels great in your hands and all of the buttons are positioned well, making it easier to hold. The camera comes with all the usual settings such as macro, auto, landscapes etc. as well as some new features like P (program), AV (aperture value).

here is a photo i took with the Rebel XS of water dropping in a bird bath.
In this photo I set the camera to AV at 1/200 no flash.

I havent really noticed any flaws in the camera yet, but i will make sure to post if i have any problems with it. There is a link over on the side if you want to try it for yourself.
Out recently to dvd and blueray is the movie "avatar". This film is absolutely breathtaking
